Who can be a Lucis member

Lucis is for people aged 18 and older. Understanding your body's trends gives you the power to make informed decisions about your future. Please note that Lucis is not a medical platform and doesn't replace medical diagnosis or prescriptions.

How does my Lucis membership work?

Once you're a Lucis member, you can book your first blood draw directly from your dashboard. In France, we send a home collection kit to use the morning of the test (in the UK and Portugal, all samples are taken at the lab). You'll follow each step in your private dashboard, with the instructions you need and a notification once lab processing is complete. Your results are generally available about one month after your lab test.

Which tests are included with a Lucis membership?

Are my health data secured and reliable?

Yes. Over the process, we ensure analytical quality with certified partner laboratories including Eurofins' network. Lucis coordinates standardized workflows with clear labeling, refrigeration, and transport guidance to protect sample integrity. Your data are encrypted, HDS-certified, ISO27001-certified, and compliant with GDPR. Health data are strictly confidential, accessed only by the health professionals reviewing your results, and never shared without your explicit consent.

Is Lucis covered by health insurance?

Currently, Lucis is generally not reimbursed by supplementary health insurance because our comprehensive biological analyses go beyond the standard tests typically prescribed by physicians. We offer complete, personalized assessments that include biomarkers rarely analyzed in conventional medicine. However, some mutual insurance providers may offer partial coverage under "alternative medicine" or "preventive health" plans. We recommend contacting your insurer directly to explore your reimbursement options.

Which wearables and integrations does Lucis support?

Lucis connects to your wearables so your daily signals sit alongside your biology. **Devices supported today:** • **Garmin** watches • **Oura** ring • **Strava** (activity tracking) • **Withings** devices **Coming soon:** Apple Watch and Whoop. **How your data is used:** once a device is connected, your data is synced and securely stored. It's taken into account from your next protocol onward, and only for the metrics relevant to it. Measurements like sleep, activity, heart rate, and recovery are added as extra signals alongside your biomarkers and questionnaire, so the latest data is reflected the next time your protocol is generated. Connecting a wearable doesn't calculate training load (Lucis is a wellness and prevention tool, not a sports performance app), and the information it adds stays educational and preventive. Your wearable data complements your biomarkers and questionnaire; it doesn't replace a blood test or a medical consultation.
